Under this guideline, common people will not be able to take their mobile inside the stadium. Significantly, an alert has also been issued by the Central IB regarding the Republic Day celebrations, due to which the security has been kept very tight and many restrictions have been imposed. Every person attending the state-level Republic Day celebrations will have to pass through a three-level security check. Only then he will be able to enter inside the stadium. Any person who is stopped during security check with any prohibited item will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
Ban imposed on these things: DCP South Yogesh Goyal said that mobile phones, lighters, beedis, cigarettes, bags, food items, inflammable materials and explosives will not be allowed during the program at the SMS Stadium, the venue of the state-level Republic Day celebrations. There will be a complete ban on bringing. Police has appealed to the general public not to bring banned material with them to avoid trouble while coming to the stadium. Despite the guideline, if any person tries to enter the stadium with any kind of banned item, then he will be stopped outside.
Armed police personnel will remain deployed: Strong security arrangements have been made for the Republic Day celebrations and armed personnel have been deployed at every nook and corner of the stadium. At the same time, 2 days ago, the entry of common people in the stadium has been completely banned. The venue of the ceremony has been investigated by the dog squad and the BDS team. About one thousand policemen will be deployed for security arrangements, traffic operations and other activities in the ceremony. Along with this, the personnel of Emergency Response Team, Quick Response Team, STF and RAC will also be deployed in security arrangements.
