Three children died in a van accident last night near Madhurandakam.

It is said that the rear tire of the van exploded when the van was going near Karunkuzhi next to Madhuranthagam. More than 10 people in the van were seriously injured when the van overturned. The girl Sabitha died on the spot.
Two boys named Ajith Kumar and Gokul were seriously injured and succumbed to their injuries at Chengalpattu Government Hospital. The Madhurandakam police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
