Bad Sanitation System In Former Chief Minister Mayawati’s Village, Roads Full Of Water, Villagers Upset

Badalpur, the native village of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati, comes under the Greater Noida Authority. Due to non-drainage of water in the village, water has filled on both sides of the road, due to which the commuters are facing a lot of problems. The villagers have complained to the authority several times, but till now proper arrangements for drainage of water have not been made.

New Delhi/Noida: Due to non-drainage of water in Badalpur village of Greater Noida Authority, water has flooded on both sides of the road, due to which the villagers are facing problems. The problems have not been resolved even after complaining to the authority. In fact, Badalpur is the ancestral village of Mayawati, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. This village comes under Greater Noida Authority. Due to non-drainage of water in the village, water has filled on both sides of the road, due to which the commuters are facing problems. Despite complaining to the authority, proper arrangements for drainage of water have not been made.

Badalpur resident Alok Nagar told that the claims of development of Greater Noida Authority are proving to be false. Badalpur is the ancestral village of former Chief Minister Mayawati, which comes under the Greater Noida Authority. There is no proper drainage system in the village. The cleaning of the drain is not being done properly, due to which water has accumulated on both sides of the road. People are facing difficulties in getting out of there.

Village head Gyan Singh said that complaints have been made to the authority many times regarding the drainage of water, but due to the negligence of the officials of the authority, the drains were not cleaned, due to which water is not being drained. The drains are not properly connected to the drain, due to which the water gets accumulated on the side of the road.

The villagers said that if the authority does not solve this problem soon, then the villagers will protest against the authority. He said that on the one hand, the authority makes tall claims for the development of villages, but on the ground, the development of villages has not been done properly. If the authority does not solve this problem, the villagers will be forced to protest by doing hunger strike for this.
