Kanpur: Vice-Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Prof. Vinay Pathak took charge of the university on Monday. Since then, there is a lot of discussion in the whole state that there are allegations of corruption against him. CBI investigation is on, yet they have got the charge. Regarding this matter, SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai demonstrated his protest in a unique way on Wednesday at Sarsaiya Ghat in Kanpur, took a stand in his name as a symbol and expressed his opposition to the government by worshiping him according to law and immersing him in the Ganges.
SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai few days back when VC of Kanpur University Prof. Vinay Pathak had not taken the charge, so he honored him by placing his photo and stands at the main gate of the university. Along with this, there was a strong verbal attack on the government. The SP MLA said that it is a unique example of the government’s zero tolerance policy that a vice-chancellor who is still facing corruption charges has been given the charge. When SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai descended into the Ganges amidst rain and severe melting. Hundreds of SP office bearers and workers were present with him from the shore side at Sarsaiya Ghat in Kanpur. During this, the workers also raised anti-government slogans. At the same time demanding from the Governor and the Chief Minister that the charge should be given to the new Vice Chancellor in CSJMU.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bajpai, SP MLA from Arya Nagar seat, has also been registering his protest against the government for the past several days through unique activities.
