Two senior Biden administration officials said a US military operation in northern Somalia killed a senior ISIS leader and 10 members of the terrorist group. The first senior administration official said Bilal al-Sudani, who raised funds for ISIS’s expansion across Africa and other countries, had been killed.

Washington (US): A senior Islamic State (ISIS) figure Bilal-al-Sudani was killed in a US counter-terrorism operation in northern Somalia. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed in a statement on Thursday. No civilian was harmed as a result of this operation. He told that many other ISIS members have also been killed in this operation. This operation was ordered by US President Joe Biden.
