In Muzaffarnagar, a woman living in Bihar has filed a case against four people including father and son alleging rape. The police is investigating the matter.
Muzaffarnagar/Noida: Police have registered a case against four people, including father and son, for raping a woman from Bihar on the pretext of marriage. The victim has alleged that atrocities were committed by first keeping her in Noida and then she was raped after being brought to Muzaffarnagar. The woman alleges that this was done on the pretext of marriage.
Raped on the pretext of marriage: A woman from Bihar lodged a case in Charthawal police station alleging that Satveer, a resident of a village in the area, had brought her to Noida on the pretext of marriage. There he kept her in a house and raped her. It is alleged that after that Satveer brought her to his home in Muzaffarnagar and there too she was tortured without marriage.
Threatening to kidnap and kill her daughter: The victim has alleged that Satbir had also taken four lakh rupees from her for her sister’s marriage. On asking back, her father and mother threatened to kill her by kidnapping her daughter. He is very scared of this threat.
Case filed against 4 people including father-son: In this case, Inspector Rakesh Sharma, in-charge of Muzaffarnagar’s Charthawal police station, has told that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against four people including father and son under relevant sections. The incident is being informed. The accused will be arrested soon. Further investigation is underway.
